This model of Yudelele travel guitar is inspired by the island of Lombok, a world renowned destination amongst surf enthusiasts. Huge waves and challenging surf lure die-hards to Bangko-Bangko (also known as Desert Point) on the southwestern tip of Lombok. Bangko-Bangko is home to the indigenous Sasak people, who hold on tightly to their tradition of creating handwoven intricately patterned textiles.

The Bangko-Bangko’s mahogany headstock imitates these traditional patterns while the solid Cedar top is adorned with a handmade inlay rosette. The body’s back and sides are solid mahogany and coated with a fine matte finish.

Absolute gorgeous sound and look. You can tell it was made by someone who plays and appreciates the craftsmanship you can put into an instrument. Quality instrument, one of my new favorite possessions. Definitely recommend.
